Who we are
Torenko and Associates has now grown to be one of the top SMT manufacturers representatives in the United States. We partner with only the premier electronic assembly equipment, repair and test, production tool companies, and consumable products manufacturers. Our sales region covers the south central U.S. (Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana), the border, and interior Mexico. In Mexico, we have an applications lab and service support through our partner Vectralis.
After working initially for many years at Alpha Metals (as a district sales manager), Ron Torenko acquired comprehensive knowledge of the industry - especially how to handle clients' needs, and how to develop important contacts between manufacturers, sales representatives and customers. With all this experience, company president, Ron Torenko, eventually relocated to Texas, and founded Torenko and Associates in 1982.
Torenko and Associates supplies an impressive array of top-tier SMT production equipment - ranging from bench-top equipment, to fully automated high volume production lines. In addition, the company has a full range of in-circuit test equipment and other unique production products intended to help the process and production engineer. Because of their years in business and considerable experience in equipment and materials technologies, Torenko and Associates has built a great reputation for “One Stop Shopping”.
Torenko and Associates also continues to evolve as the SMT assembly market changes - as it has to. The company actually specializes in identifying and working to provide solutions to the most cutting-edge SMT, semiconductor, test and repair technologies. This process simply never ends (if you intend to be able to fully meet the production needs of your customers).
Torenko and Associates is headquartered in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex area, with additional offices throughout the region and interior Mexico (see map). Many of the companies' sales engineers are either former SMT process or production engineers and are all factory trained - so they are "process savvy". They all have the necessary experience to be able to tell you what is and isn't an ideal match for your needs.
